Nevada Travel Video

I chose a location that I feel represented Nevada and made for a great travel video. I chose the San Rafael Region Park. This park was located near campus but had the outdoors environment that Nevada is known for. I followed all the rules of composition by using wide angle shots, having my subjects fill the frame appropriately, and I was sure to film motion for the video as well. The music I found had qualities of hopefulness and positivity with a touch of beauty. This perfectly fit my video because my location, which is full of life and beautiful shots complimented those themes in the music.

I did my best to use light creatively, especially when the light bounced off of plants or benches to create a very pleasant glow. I used text that was formal and well placed to keep a professional and natural aesthetic. I used the tripod for the entire shoot and did my best to keep everything in focus. I also spent much time walking around and absorbing in the atmosphere to find the best shots that represented the park and to portray the emotions I wanted. Finally, I was sure to use smooth transitions to allow for a natural flow.
